How Do Live Classes With Kim Work?

How to Register with Calliflower (our conference call platform)

Sign up here, it’s free! You can add a photo of yourself here so we can see each other on the call.

How the live classes work:

  • You will get emails with a call link enclosed in advance of the call date (usually Monday morning of each week). Click on call link from your email
  • You will be directed to the Calliflower page
  • Enter your name
  • Enter your email address
  • Complete the simple math problem (ensures you are human)
  • Click Register
  • Call dashboard will appear with all call information and you will be emailed aninvite/directions immediately and again at the time of the call
  • Your email may contain an RSVP (yes, no, maybe buttons) you may respond to place on your calendar.
  • You may select a local dial in number or use Skype by clicking the links on your invitation email
  • Your pin number is unique to you, please don’t share it.
  • Call into the number provided to you (or click on the Skype option) a few minutes before the start time of the call
  • If, for some reason you aren’t able to log in, general call details will be posted in the calendar

How the Phone Calls Work:

Once you’ve dialed in and entered your pin number, you will be connected to the call. If you’re early, just wait on the line for Kim to dial in. Your line may be muted once the conference call officially begins, but you can freely chat with others on the line before that point. (if the line is quiet enough we can leave the call un-muted so everyone can interact).

The conference calls are conducted in “lecture mode” with questions presented one at a time to Kim.

  • To let Kim know you have a question, press *2 on the phone keypad or raise your hand on the dashboard. This is called “raising your hand,” and the system will respond in voice with “hand raised.” Kim can see raised hands on her computer while the call is in progress.
  • Kim will let you know when it’s your turn to ask your question by un-muting your line. When you hear “line un-muted,” you are the only one hearing that and it indicates that it is your turn to speak. All other callers remain muted while a single caller asks a question.
  • Please be respectful of your fellow classmates by keeping your questions and responses brief and to the point.
  • If for any reason Kim’s line gets accidentally dropped from the call, please just stay on the line until she dials back in.
  • If you have data that you’d like Kim to have in front of her when you ask your questions during a call, please note that we must receive the data at least 24 hours in advance of the call. Send all data to assistant@sleeplady.com with “Class Subject Matter” in the subject line. Note that Kim does not review data in advance but will review it while she is on the call.
